Tell us a little bit about your business and why you decided to start it:

I decided to start this business after realizing the need from social media, within the community and my own passion after being successful with weight loss. As a dietitian, I want to help others and give them scientific-based weight loss guidelines that are achievable and accessible to all – regardless of their situation or circumstances. 

 

What nutritional advice do you have for brides trying to slim down for their wedding?

My advice would be to remain consistent, patient, and determined. In addition to being honest with their intake and to set realistic goals. With my help we can come up with their ultimate goal and modify it from there if need be. My personal ultimate goal with each client would be not only for them to reach their desired goal, but to feel good in their skin. Being healthy isn’t just about the food you eat. It’s also about taking care of yourself through self-care and realizing that the important thing is progress not perfection. 

 

Are their any local places you recommend to reach your health goals?

I would recommend to eat whole foods for the most part and try to maintain that. If they are struggling with foods to come up with and eating outfit within their budget, I would recommend places that offer quick, convenient, healthy whole foods that would let them reach their goals. We are fortunate in this area with many businesses that make eating healthy delicious and convenient. All of which I would educate on what constitutes as healthy, which varies person to person and is dependent upon the type of  diet.
